Mappo is a social app that helps you meet people through license plates. Scan a plate registered as public to discover its owner's profile. Send a friend request and, once accepted, start a conversation.
02Can anyone find me through my plate?
Only when you choose to make your plate discoverable. You can turn plate discovery off in your app profile. A private plate won't appear in search results, and the search doesn't reveal whether it is registered.
03Do I need a car to use Mappo?
No. You can also find friends by username, chat, and share stories. Registering a plate is simply another way for someone who crosses your path to discover your profile.
04Can someone message me right after scanning?
A friend request needs to be accepted before a conversation can begin. You choose who you connect with, and you can block people you don't want to hear from.
05Where can I download Mappo?
Mappo is being prepared for the App Store and Google Play. Download links aren't available here yet. In the meantime, try the interactive demo to see how scanning, adding a friend, and chatting work.
